from 3762 reviewsI’ve been playing Pickleball for around 4 months now. This is my second paddle that I have had. First one was quite cheap and I found it had a lot of dead spots. A friend had a six zero, so I tired it, ordered mine that very day. Since playing with my new paddle I have found my game has really changed for the better. No more dead spots, so I can pretty much hit anywhere on the paddle with much more control than before. I would most definitely recommend this paddle.
Adjusts very nicely
Thin material. Very nice.
Works great. Excellent product!
Took a few days to get used to it. Large sweet spot lots of power and definitely lots of spin. Has a good solid feel. I highly recommend this paddle.
I found this visor to be too heavy and warm for Ca. even at night playing PB.
Would rather it be lighter weight like Nike and other brands that breath and keep head cool letting sweat eveporate. Otherwise for other areas of country it should work well as it is made well.
I was using a Ronbus and love it, but wanted more power with my hard shots. The six zero black diamond does it and is excellent at spins and the soft game. The weight and balance feel just like the Ronbus, but now I have opponents commenting on my slams, but I am also enjoying the control and soft game.
This paddle lives up to the control and still has good pop! I have only played 10 tens with it, but having very good results. I’m looking forward to upping my game as I get better acquainted with this paddle. Mahalo!!!
Decided to give these grip overwraps a try. They perform better than the brands I've used in the past. My hand doesn't slip at all.
I went with the 14mm and love the power yet, it has great control. Coming from a Paddletek bantam the 6.0 is great. I got the black, looks great the handle is a tad small only because I have really big hands weight wise feels great. A little tingy feel when hit on the edge but always goes where I’m aiming. spin on my serve is great Over all very nice paddle…. I never give five stars because I don’t want a company to get to comfortable and think there is no room for improvement 🤣
I was a brand ambassador for Yonex Tennis for a few years and when I added pickleball, I played with their paddle. It wasn’t until a friend told me to go carbon fiber and I decided to be different and went with Double Black Diamond! I love the touch, control, power and unique head design. I have both the 16mm and 14mm. As my cousins in Sydney say…”Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!!!”
This is what I wrote to a friend for my paddle 6.0.
6.0 Black Diamond review - OMG what a pleasant surprise. As of 9/29, I have tried some of the latest paddle from Selkirk, it has soft touches, spin and power but they are a little bit on the heavy side. The Power Air is very poppy and truly is a paddle for single. The whole line up for the Joola top selling series is also poppy and doesn't have the soft touches. People often associate power with paddle but true power comes from footwork, the point of contact, the fluid motion of your swing and the follow through. The Black Diamond has enough power that you can add pace to the ball but not to hard and poppy. As the result, you can easily reset and nice 3rd drop shots. For topspin and similar to tennis, point of contact and brushing the ball but the grits will definitely add extra spin to your shot. Since it is not heavy, volley at the kitchen for those high ball or with quick shoot outs are less demanding on your elbows and shoulders. For single, it has plenty juice for the serve and your swings both for the forehand and backhand. The handle is 5.5 which is enough for a two handed backhand. Only time will tell how durable this paddle is. I am definitely in love with it. I have not try the double black diamond for more control but this paddle has enough softness for me to dink, reset and doing drops. Really me drops and dink? I would love to do drops and dink while using the Black Diamond. Highly recommended both for single and double. I am crossing my fingers hoping this paddle with last me 9 months to a year.
Best paddle to date. Great touch, power and balance
Got my paddle late yesterday. Played with it the first time this morning. As I inspected the paddle , it didn’t seem too gritty or abrasive. I didn’t think it would create significant spin. Oh boy I was wrong. Rub it against your shorts or shirt and it just catches n grabs. You may not believe this but as I hit the ball there were fragments of the ball in my paddle. Franklin x-40 !! I had to rub the paddle on my shorts or shirt between shots!!! There’s a very large sweet spot. All the power you will need and amazing touch for the soft game.
10/10, does exactly as described. Good feel, good balance. A little light so add some weights
3 months of play at this point. I'm still very new to this addictive sport, but playing any sport with a well-made piece of equipment is always more enjoyable. I had 7 different paddles from Selkirk, SLK, Engage, Bison, Head, to Gearbox and a few more sprinkled in there over the 3 weeks i was renting, and I can tell you for me none of them felt this good. When you can hear the spin ripping through the air diving over the net on your drive and your very next shot is a a effortless cross net dink, you will understand what I mean. Feedback the feeling in my hand was just what i wanted. Thank you SixZero. This paddle is AMAZING.
